Barbara Schroeder and Chris Haskell are the Cool Teachers, two Boise State faculty members who enjoy sharing the tools, tips, and trends that can help make your classroom a cool and engaging place.

We started with a simple idea—doing a weekly audio podcast to help teachers use technology in fun and creative ways. This weekly audio podcast turned into a weekly live show broadcast through ustream, a Cool Teacher Podcast blog, and a show that is now available through the iTunes store.

Our outreach to teachers and desire to help has resulted in another venture: Cool Teacher Training—a consulting and professional development business which can help jump-start your school or business. Our Experience

Barbara and Chris have extensive experience in the fields of educational technology and teaching. Barbara holds an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction and Chris has an M.S. in Educational Technology. Chris is also currently pursuing his doctoral degree in Educational Technology.

They are seasoned presenters at conferences and schools; have published a technology textbook for teachers, Digital Age Teaching Skills and recently published a chapter in an edited textbook, Ubiquitous Learning: Strategies for Pedagogy, Course Design and Technology.
